Environmental Action is a group dedicated to social and political action for environmental principles, both on campus and in the world. In our first few months, we have done a letter-writing campaign against President Bush's proposed drilling in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge and passed a bill in Student Affairs Senate to put eight new recycling bins on campus. Check our issues page for more information on current environmental issues facing the campus, the nation, and the world.

In addition to action, we also get out and enjoy nature. Through hikes, camping trips, and the like, we hope to introduce people to nature who have not had much contact with it, and reinforce a love of the outdoors for those who have. See the trips for recent and future excursions.
