Panhellenic Council

     Nebraska Wesleyan University's Panhellenic Council (Panhel) is the group of women responsible for governing all of the sororities on campus. The council is composed of two student delegates from each chapter along with officers and the Director of Greek Life.
     Panhel coordinates activities involving all Greek women and works in collaboration with the Interfraternity Council to sponsor All - Greek Events throughout the year. Panhel promotes high standards of scholastic and social conduct as well as a spirit of cooperation and understanding within the Greek system.
     As a Council, Panhel encourages sorority women to act as a unified force on campus is order to strengthen bonds and maintain a supportive atmosphere in which every woman has the opportunity to develop and grow.


NWU Greek Community Mission Statement

The Nebraska Wesleyan University Greek System exist to benefit the individual member, their respective chapters, parents, alumnae, and the Wesleyan and Lincoln communities. Our members are provided with opportunities to enhance their college experience by developing brotherhood and sisterhood through support systems that create positive connections. This is accomplished through the traditions of academic excellence, campus and community involvement, leadership development, and forming of positive, lifelong relationships, while providing the opportunity for intellectual, social, spiritual, and emotional growth.
