Dear First Year Student,

     On behalf of the Panhellenic Council I would like to welcome you to Nebraska Wesleyan University. You have selected a wonderful institution of which o pursue your undergraduate education and I am confident that you will thrive in all areas of college life here at Wesleyan. NWU prides itself on having not only an outstanding academic program, but also numerous campus organizations and opportunities for involvement within the community. Joining the Greek system is one of the many valuable experiences that you could be a part of at NWU.
     The Greek community at NWU is a unique and diverse system with opportunities for everyone. As one of the most visible organizations on campus the Greeks collaborate with the faculty, staff, and alumni in order to enhance student life and improve the campus as well as the surrounding Lincoln community. You will have the chance to become a part of this exceptional group of students as you embark on your college career in the fall.
     Each sorority at NWU has members with a wide range of personalities, interests, and talents. Individual chapters promote scholarship, leadership, and unity through their various activities and philanthropies throughout the year, not to mention the many social functions and other Greek sponsored events that allow students to create lasting friendships and memories. Greek life allows students to achieve success in their own way and to grow as an individual and as a member of an important and influential group on campus.
     As the President of the Panhellenic Council I would like to take this opportunity to encourage you to participate in Nebraska Wesleyan University's upcoming fall Panhellenic Recruitment, an experience that will help you learn more about each sorority and prepare you to make an informed decision about whether Greek life is right for you!
