Welcome to My Website!

Hello, my name is Jamie Bergmeier. I am currently a junior at Nebraska Wesleyan University. I am majoring in Special Education and Elementary Education. I plan to do my student teaching in the Fall Semester of 2010 in Grand Island, NE. I hope to teach in a special education classroom. I intend to pursue a master’s degree in the next few years as well.

I am creating this web page for my Instructional Technology class. Here on my web page you will find links to a few projects that I have completed throughout the semester. Using what I have learned in this class, I plan on creating a classroom where technology is incorporated into many learning experiences that can get my students excited and enthusiastic about learning.

As you explore my site, I hope you take time to visit my webquest. It is an interactive lesson for 4th-6th graders to learn about color theory and how it is used in everyday applications. Students will visit a variety of educational sites that reveal the color wheel and many important terms that they will use when creating artwork. They will be asked to fill out a worksheet in a cooperative group. Each person in the group will play an important role in this color exploration journey.
