Welcome! My name is Katie Hitchler and I currently am a sophomore here at Nebraska Wesleyan University. I am majoring in Elementary Education and my minor is Coaching. My plans are to work as a lower elementary classroom teacher and be a varsity high school sports coach.

I am constructing this WebQuest for my Education 187: Instructional Technology course. This WebQuest contains links to my projects which I created for this course. I have learned that using technology in the classroom can be a fun and easy way to get the students excited about learning in a new way. I hope to integrate my knowledge of technology into the classroom in hopes of being a great teacher!

My Webquest lesson is designed for students in the fourth grade level mathematics course. This lesson will also incorporate a little science, which involves density, mass, and volume. Each student will do an experiment to find his or her own body density. After the completion of body density experiment, the students will then be given a problem that they will have to use their calculations to solve. They will then explain on what they learned the results they will gather.
