Welcome! My name is Phil Harm and I am a junior at Nebraska Wesleyan University. I am currently majoring in History and Social Sciences with education. I plan on student teaching in the Spring of 10.

This website was created for work in Education 187: Instructional Technology. Learning technology for the classroom will help further my pursuit of creating the most efficient classroom setting. Here you will find many things I have designed through this class including a powerpoint, a webquest, a newsletter, and an iMovie.

My webquest lesson is designed to work with students at the secondary level. Students will be given a list of four past American presidents and research their impacts and choices in the respective time periods. Students will then choose which president they feel was the not only the best leader of their time, but how their leadership abilities would contribute to the United States today. The purpose of this lesson is to help students understand different mindsets and actions taken by past presidents. It goes further in helping students understand the problems of today and how the study of methods of past leaders can be used to solve problems in today’s society.
