My HomepageMy name is Sarah Esch. I am a junior at Nebraska Wesleyan University. I am pursuing a degree in Special Education with a minor in Coaching. I hope to teach the lower level grades of elementary and coach high school volleyball and basketball. I am very excited to teach because I love to be around kids and watch them learn. I will be student teaching in the Spring of 2010. I am creating this website for my Instructional Technology 187 class. You will find projects that I have created throughout the semester and hope they will become useful to you. This website will help show what I have learned and ways to further my students learning experiences. I plan on using the information about technology and bringing it into my own classroom someday. I want to teach my students how to have fun and be excited to learn in various ways. My WebQuest lesson is created for students in the fourth grade level of science. Each student will get to observe their very own caterpillar and help it grow into a beautiful butterfly! Students' will watch right before their eyes the stages of development a caterpillar must go through. After the butterfly has hatched from its' cocoon, students will reflect on their data taken and use their data to come to a conclusion about their project. Parts of this lesson will emphasize creativity writing, descriptive data and artistic ability. My template design is Compilation. This experiement will be a great hands-on project and fun to explore!
